Our Mission:
Uniting people and resources to build a stronger, healthier community.

United Way of Garland County was established more than 50 years ago as a local, nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of our friends and neighbors. We are operated by a local volunteer board of directors. We raise our funds locally and funds are spent locally. United Way knows that people like you want to make a difference in your community.

Our experience tells us that the best way to help the most people is to target our community's most serious problems and then focus on the underlying causes of those problems. It takes the whole community working together to create positive change.

So we bring together people from all across the community people from government, business, faith groups, nonprofits and our neighbors to tackle the issues that matter most. If it requires fundraising or just getting people to work together, that's what we do.

United Way of Garland County is focused on results. And we know that's what matters to you.
