Literacy Council of Garland County trains Volunteers to tutor individuals needing to improve their reading skills and/or learn the Engilsh Language in order to become more productive citizens. 624-READ

 

Men Mentoring Young Minorities is a group of individuals that come together to mentor young minorites through tutoring, group activites, etc.  262-5501

 

Ouachita Children's Center provides emergency shelter and casework services for abused, neglected, deliquent and troubled youth. OCC also offers outreach prevention and casework intervention for youth and their families. 623-5591

 

Paul Bewie Boys & Girls Club is a community based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to support of the family in developing moral values, responsibility and character in our young people. 984-6996

 

Project HOPE Food Bank is a volunteer operated food bank that provides affordable food to food pantries and feeding programs that serve those at-risk of hunger in the Hot Springs area.  623-3663

Senior Companions provide in-home assistance with daily living to help the frail elderly live happier, independent lives. The companion receives a stipend and the satisfaction of helping their clients avoid institutionalization. 623-4092
